The Goal
Casa de la Misericordia aims to provide a safe and dignified space for single women, women with children and adolescents, and entire families seeking asylum in the United States.
They have created a self-taught community for and with migrants, where they can explore, learn and use their skills in a warm, safe and pro-human rights space. The community is managed by our residents, they make this shelter their home.
We, Cruzando Fronteras, support this ministry through a supportive partnership model.

Services Available
Due to the long duration our residence experience when waiting for entry into the United States we have found it valuable to offer lots of services. We do this in order to provide a high standard of living, during this part of individuals journey. These services include training in trades or occupations, education for youth, legal assistance, medical and psychological assistance, lodging, and balanced meals.
