Jesus calls us to live into a “borderlands spirituality” which straddles the frontier between the Kingdom of God made real and the Kingdom yet to come. Cruzando Fronteras is a collaboration among the Diocese of Arizona, the Grand Canyon Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, the Anglican Diocese of Western Mexico, the Southwestern Conference of the United Church of Christ and the Christian Church (Disciple of Christ) in Arizona. Together we fund and support Casa de la Misericordia y de Todas las Naciones; a migrant shelter in Nogales, Sonora. Learn more about the shelter on our “home” page. If you or a group is interested in visiting the borderlands, please feel free to reach out to us.
